AI wars 2020: Top Emerging Technologies to be presented at WEF

Strong AI event at #Davos2020 is to prevent using AI for evil, and is aimed at providing a fair distribution of benefits from AI progress.

5 years ago, Elon Musk, Mustafa Suleyman and dozens of #AI experts signed an open letter on artificial intelligence calling for research on the societal impacts of AI.

We invited them to join Strong AI initiative. Before now, very few people are focused on developing AGI. We hope the AI open Letter will contribute https://futureoflife.org/ai-open-letter/

Now, there is a tipping point. Modern ML allows harnessing social energy using the accumulated data as fuel. For what, here is the question! For the superiority of their country and companies. That is, AI is a sort of warfare!

Wars of the future

Autonomous Weapons (AW) include various systems for either defensive or offensive capabilities. For example, Automated Target Recognition (ATR) systems autonomously acquire targets and have been in existence since the 1970s. Existing systems are largely defensive in nature with humans determining the decisions surrounding the time, location, and category of targets. A recent survey found that at least 89 countries have automatic air defense systems in their arsenal and 63 countries deployed more than one type of air defense system. Active Protection (AP) systems are developed and manufactured by only nine known producing countries. The charts below show the total known number of AW systems known to be deployed globally according to expert-curated data from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute.

Neocortical wars.

In one of the articles about the neocortical war, it was written, by the way, that in the era of total quality control of the enemy, one should consider it as a client, a consumer, who needs to sell a means of defeating him, and not just deliver it.

The artificial intelligence already used right now harms the natural intelligence of man as a real neocortical weapon deserves at least verification.

At tipping points, even a small but precisely focused effort by a group of like-minded people can produce a tremendous effect.

AI now is like researching atomic energy before World War II.

There is such a predictive method as operations research, which allows us to accurately predict the deployment of this war.

It will start in 2020, as Trump needs the war to be re-elected. His adversaries also want the war to show his politic if catastrophic but also to profit on war.

We all know war is the most profitable for those who finance it. So, when there are stakeholders, contradictions and opportunities, thus, AI war is inevitable. In fact, it is already happening. But by its nature, it is hidden from attention.

BY NOW THE MASTERS OF WEAPONS ARE AI GENIUSES.

AT DAVOS, WE WILL CONSOLIDATE STRONG AI MASTERS FOR GOOD CAUSE!

AI for good or evil?

We learned how China employs facial recognition to track the movements of its Uighur Muslim population.

Apple and Google have been the subject of reports uncovering the potential misuse of recordings collected to improve assistants like Siri and Google Assistant, so as the fall of this load is privacy.

Amazon employs contract workers to annotate thousands of hours of audio from Alexa-powered devices, prompting the company to roll-out user-facing tools that quickly delete cloud-stored data.

Congress members' proposals come across, following the introduction of the Commercial Facial Recognition Privacy Act of 2019, which would require businesses to receive consent before using facial recognition software.
Thousands of activists, academics, and lawmakers have called for restrictions on facial recognition technology. The state of California imposed a moratorium on facial recognition use in law enforcement body cameras, and San Francisco banned facial recognition use by city departments in challenge determination for collection and readings of private data.

Some AI-specific problems will need to be overcome for AI to reach its potential for social good, from challenges with data (bias, availability, accessibility, quality, volume, labeling, and integration), accessing computing capacity, availability and accessibility of AI talent, and the receptiveness and capabilities of organizations deploying solutions. Some efforts are underway to address this, especially to address accessibility of data for social good

AI-driven Jobs trends show the most important technologies.

The basic methodology of the Rating of Emerging technologies is operations researches. Let’s see the demand for AI specialists by industry:

AI index Report, Stanfod

So, Scientific panel will validate the Rating of Emerging Technologies using this data set, along with VC trends.

The Strong AI initiative group is inviting specialists from other industries, to join efforts on mapping the Road Map toward Strong AI. The problem of Artificial General intelligence requires interdisciplinary efforts.

AI engineers by their mindset have lost the fact that there is the 2nd hemisphere of brain, a non-logic one. Therefore, AI engineers do not know how to make Strong Ai.
To understand the Strong AI algorithm, one needs medical knowledge of the brain. The costs of research in the field of specular neurons increase exponentially every year and the role of one of the main trends in the development of science in the coming years

Conditional Basic Income presented by Edward Musinski in Davos.

Who don’t want a fair distribution of benefits from AI progress?

Consider this: FAANG (Facebook and other 4 top IT companies), plus such companies, as DMV (Selling Drivers’ Personal Information), Were Making more than $50M B. a Year on AI-driven technologies.

So, these companies and their lobby are beneficiaries of Ai neocolonialism.

The rest of global population (99,9%) must get fair compensation for the use of big data produced in one way or another with their participation.

There are various forms of universal basic income, such as regular payments to citizens regardless of income. Edward Musinski presented one concept of this kind, ad Davos 2019: Conditional Basic Income based on health data

These ideas have the endorsements of luminaries such as Richard Branson and Elon Musk. U.S. presidential candidate Andrew Yang made it a central part of his campaign for the Democrats’ nomination.

Elon Musk, has finally announced why he’s stepped back from Tesla and SpaceX, his most beloved companies. His new venture, called QuantumAI has seen invest over 2 billion dollars in just the past 2 years — to develop and code QuantumAI

Elon decided to put all of this power to work in a financial technology with the plan of redistributing the world’s wealth.

Basically, to take from the top 0.1% and give back to the 99.9%. Elon believes wealth is not distributed well in our time and the problem is getting worse. Although there will always be someone richer and someone poorer, the current situation is unacceptable — where the top 0.1% controls almost 90% of world’s wealth. He believes he can cut that down to around 20% without causing world-wide financial crisis. So, what exactly does that mean to you, just a regular person? This means you’ll become 2–3 times wealthier, and no one except the super-wealthy will take a hit. Sounds amazing, doesn’t it? Not for the super-wealthy, but for you — yes!

I want to say now:

Strong AI contributors, unite!
